The LUCH gas boiler is a product of the Russian company Gazoapparat. Production facilities are located in Taganrog. The main difference is compactness and affordable cost. Designed for heating small areas - up to 180 square meters.
About company
"TAGANROG GAS APPARATUS" - a group of companies engaged in the production of gas equipment for 20 years. It has a wide network of service centers in the Russian Federation and the CIS. Produces floor boilers "LUCH", including parapet, with a closed combustion chamber. The company independently develops and implements new models made using the latest innovative technologies.
Advantages of LUCH boilers
- Economical consumption of resources.
- 100% fuel combustion in a sealed firebox.
- Bilateral arrangement of branch pipes - convenient connection.
- Minimal heat loss.
- Tubular heat exchanger, efficient and durable.
Boiler selection
Number of circuits
The first thing the consumer needs to choose is the number of circuits. If the house has centralized water supply or there is already a gas water heater, it is more profitable to buy a single-circuit device - it will only work on heating the house and is cheaper than a double-circuit one. The abbreviation for single-circuit heaters is KSG and AOGV.
If there is no hot water in the house, it is more advisable for you to take a dual-circuit apparatus - ACGV or KSGV.
Power
Determining the thermal power of a gas heater, proceed from the ratio - 1000 W per 10 m². But this is an approximate calculation, often you need to take power with a margin. Why? Arguments:
- Any equipment should not work to the limit of power, it will wear out early. The best option is to load at 75–80% of maximum power. Having made the calculation according to the above formula, increase the resulting value by 30%.
- It is necessary to take into account the features of buildings - the material of the walls, how it is located, whether there is insulation and other points. So, for example, in corner apartments it is always colder than in central ones. It is recommended to use the following ratios: cold room - for 10 m² 1500–2000 W; insulated - for 10 m² 500-700 watts.
For heating apartments, private houses, as well as buildings for household, administrative and industrial purposes, heaters with a capacity of 8–20 kW are sufficient. They are able to heat an area of 60–80 m².
Dimensions and Weight
Almost all modifications of the Taganrog manufacturer, except for the new KSG (S) - floor type. But the dimensions are modest:
- KSG (KSGV) models have 8, 10 and 12 kW - 64x34x44.8 cm. Weight - 33 kg.
- 16 and 20 kW - 69x40x51 cm. Weight - 50 kg.
- In the parapet (10 / P and 12 / P) - 65x37x55 cm. Weight - 50 kg.
Such sizes favorably distinguish LUCH heaters from many analogues and simplify their installation.
Fuel consumption and smoke exhaust
Modifications of LUCH boilers have a number of differences:
- AOGV consume only natural gas.
- CSG can also work on liquefied.
Consumption - 0.8–1.9 m³ / h.
Parapet models have a closed firebox. The consumption of natural gas is 1–1.2 m³ / h. Such devices need a coaxial chimney. The parapet boiler does not "eat" the air from the room. This is beneficial, but not very convenient for city apartments, because the coaxial chimney must be taken directly to the street, through the wall.
When choosing an option, the diameter of the chimney and the size of the nozzles are also taken into account.
Power supply
The main problem faced by owners of volatile devices, which are the majority today, is power surges. As a result, the equipment either works at maximum, or turns off. It happens that even stabilizers do not save.
If you have insurmountable problems with power grids, choose non-volatile versions - AOGV with SIT automation. They coolant circulates in a natural way - because of the temperature difference, and there is no pump. Their ignition is not electronic, but a piezo. And the water temperature is measured by means of a thermocouple.
An important advantage of Taganrog boilers is the price. They are available to everyone. The cost of single-circuit starts with 6,600 rudders, double-circuit - from 8,000 rubles.
Automation in LUCH boilers
- The temperature is maintained automatically. The limit value is 95 ° C.
- In hazardous situations, the draft sensor shuts off the device and stops the flow of fuel.
- Flame tracking. If the fire goes out, the equipment turns off.
Burner
Taganrog boilers are equipped with highly reliable gas burner devices. Fuel, before entering the burner, overcomes the strainer, impurities are filtered out here, preventing them from entering the nozzles.
In non-volatile modifications are low flame carpet burners, this is one of the most productive options. Such devices have an increased number of nozzles and a minimum diameter. This approach reduces energy costs and ensures uniform heating of the furnace and heat exchanger - productivity increases.
What are
Floor
Gazoapparat specializes in the production of floor heaters. They are reliable, structurally simple, easy to manage. They were designed for real domestic conditions. All the nuances were taken into account: the quality of water and gas, pressure in main gas pipelines and water pipes.
Taganrog products, unlike imported competitors, do not need additional adaptation. They can work at low pressure indicators. It is also possible to use in gas pipelines with high pressure, the built-in regulator helps.
All floor models are converted to liquefied fuel. The translation kit must be ordered at the factory.
A distinctive feature is an open firebox. Exhaust combustion products are discharged in the traditional way through chimneys. Therefore, their use is possible only where there is a special vertical chimney. The lineup is represented by modifications of the KSG / KSGV, which differ in automation:
- 8–20 kW - TGV307;
- 25-30 kW - MINISIT 710;
- 40–50 kW - NOVA 820.
Parapet
The line of parapet models KSG / KSGV is represented by compact heaters, the main distinguishing feature of which is a sealed firebox. The air required for combustion is taken from the street, it enters the furnace through a coaxial chimney. The latter provides for the separation of air flows: fresh air is supplied on the outside, combustion products are discharged on the inside.
Due to its small size, parapet versions can be mounted in the most cramped rooms. Any connection option is provided - on the right or on the left.
The device with an isolated combustion chamber has a compartment in which the burner is located. Air comes here only from the street, it is not taken from the room. You can install it on any walls facing the street, there is no need for a traditional chimney. It is important to comply with installation requirements. The instruction indicates how to indent from windows, floors, walls.
It is forbidden to bring a coaxial chimney into the porch, onto the loggia or balcony. The advantage of the parapet versions is that in the room where they are installed, there is no need to organize forced ventilation. Such boilers are allowed to be installed in very small rooms, for example, in the kitchen.
Chimneys are supplied complete and are also sold separately. Do not use self-made chimneys or from analogues. Small dimensions did not reduce the performance of the device, these modifications have an efficiency of 92%. This result is achieved, among other things, due to the special design of the heat exchanger. It has a tubular construction and is made of heat-resistant steel. To increase the heat removal, it was equipped with vertical tubes.
New
KSG (S) is a lightweight, compact modification that can be installed on the floor or suspended on a wall. This is a novelty in the model range of floor units. She, having all the advantages of floor versions, has the capabilities characteristic of mounted counterparts. This is a convenient option for small housing.
The device is similar to all KSG: open firebox, traditional smoke extraction, gas burner (carpet type, low flame) with TGV307 automation.
The benefits of the lite version:
- light weight;
- compactness;
- the possibility of wall mounting;
- affordable cost.
Other design features:
- stylish design;
- the possibility of conversion to liquefied gas;
- adjustment of the minimum fuel consumption mode;
- security automation;
- piezo ignition;
- automation controls the temperature of the coolant and adjusts power;
- simple operation;
- ease of connection to the heating system.
This low-cost model has a custom gas regulator that allows it to operate at high gas pressure in the pipelines (above the maximum allowable). The fuel pressure is reduced by the regulator, and only then is the fuel supplied to the burner. The same regulator controls the flow of natural gas. By setting the desired value at the input, the user controls the fuel consumption and heating costs.
The back wall is equipped with hinges on which the heater can be hung on the wall. KSG (S) is allowed to mount close to the wall, while in traditional models you need to retreat 8-10 cm. This saves space. Pipe outlets are available on both sides, which simplifies equipment installation. Gas pipes can be led to the left or right, as convenient.
Disadvantages
- There is a risk of blowing out in strong winds.
- Limited by heating area.
- A professional approach to connecting the chimney is required.

Reviews
KSGV-10: Vyacheslav O., Stavropol
Inexpensive is the main plus. It works fine for 4 years. Not without problems, but they are all solved without much hassle and investment. I do the prophylaxis according to the instructions, so there have been no global breakdowns yet. Sometimes it pops when fired up, but I think it’s the gas, since the draft is normal.
KSG-20: Peter L., Volga
He worked for two years. Hassle did not deliver. Attracted by low cost, simplicity of design and the ability to buy parts. Quite economical, consumes gas sparingly, heats well. Our house is large, but insulated, therefore, it cost the minimum rated power. Automation failed. Here stands GTV 603. When igniting the wick, you have to hold the gas supply valve - just let go, the flame goes out. I had to call the wizard from the service.
Gas heaters from Gazoapparat are compact and versatile - they can heat apartments, offices, and are suitable for a private house. Parapet models are suitable for rooms in which there is the possibility of installing a coaxial chimney.
